Local economic development is a key strategy to enhance the welfare of rural communities. Lintang Village, East Belitung Regency, possesses significant potential in the fields of Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and tourism are rooted in local wisdom, such as white pepper processing, rattan handicrafts, and nature- and culture-based tourism destinations. However, the village faced challenges before implementing the community service program, including limited market access, insufficient entrepreneurial training, and underutilization of digital promotion strategies. This community service program aimed to empower Lintang Village through entrepreneurial training, digitalization, and tourism development based on local culture and experiences. The program utilized field observations, interviews, SWOT analysis, and participatory methods. Success indicators included quantitative measures such as increased MSME income, higher tourist arrivals, the number of products marketed online, and qualitative changes like shifts in community perceptions of local wisdom as an economic asset. The program demonstrated significant outcomes, including a 20% average increase in MSME income, a 30% rise in tourist visits to key destinations, and more than 15 local products successfully marketed through e-commerce platforms. Additionally, the community began adopting digital technology for promotions, while destinations such as Tebat Rasau and Kubok Tuk Layang emerged as attractions offering cultural and educational experiences. The program achieved an 85% success rate, positively impacting the community. It enhanced the village’s economy and reinforced its cultural identity, positioning Lintang Village as a sustainable model for local economic empowerment based on local wisdom. |
