Abstrak
This study aims to analyze the strategies for using educational technology to mitigate the negative impacts of gadgets on young children. In recent years, the use of technology in education has rapidly developed, particularly in early childhood education. While technology can enhance cognitive and social skills, excessive exposure to gadgets can lead to disruptions in children's social, emotional, and physical development. Therefore, it is crucial to implement technology in a structured and careful manner to optimize its benefits and minimize its negative effects. This research employs a literature review method, analyzing various journals and articles published in the last five years on the topic. The findings indicate that educational technology, when used appropriately, can positively impact academic and social skills development. However, proper supervision by parents and educators is essential to maintain a balance between the benefits of technology and the developmental needs of children. The study also highlights the challenge of unequal access to technology in different regions, which needs to be addressed. Therefore, policies supporting more equitable access to technology and training for educators in utilizing educational technology are required.
